Established in 1972, the Northwest Portland Area Indian Health Board (NPAIHB or the Board) is a non-profit tribal advisory organization serving the forty-three federally recognized tribes of Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. Our mission is to eliminate health disparities and improve the quality of life of American Indians and Alaska Natives by supporting Northwest Tribes in their delivery of culturally appropriate, high quality healthcare.

Elena Kay Van Pelt this could be another option
CHR was a welcome sight to our house back when my dad needed care. Now his shoes are on my feet and a CHR would be a welcome sight in 2024.
Today, the Secretary’s Tribal Advisory Committee (STAC) is meeting in Washington D.C. The meeting started off with HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra speaking with Tribal leaders, including Chairman Ron Allen (Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe).
Tribal leaders expressed their gratitude to Secretary Becerra and his staff for their partnership with Tribal Nations in moving Indian health policy requests forward in the past four years.
